Jeannine M. Durdik Office: SCEN 525 |
Degrees:
Ph.D. Johns Hopkins University, 1981
Research Interests:
We have shown that pentoxifylline given during the development of a primary responses enhances the memory responses of T cells. We are currently exploring the mechanism of its activities in lymphocytes. We are testing the hypothesis that double stranded breaks accumulate in the DNA in older individuals and that this affects the development of lymphocytes in aged animals.
Academic Interests:
Molecular immunology, stability of genes, control of avian and mammalian immune responses.
