VISITING THE UARK HERBARIUM 

The herbarium is open by appointment to students and researchers. We also give group tours as staff schedules allow, also by appointment. Please email the collections manager if you would like to access the collection for research purposes or to arrange a tour.

 

LOCATION 

The UARK Herbarium is located in Printing Services (PRES) on the University of Arkansas campus.

The entrance to the herbarium is on the west side of the building.

PARKING 

A permit is required to park on the UA campus. If you have a faculty/staff permit, you can park in Lot 226 (formerly Lot 57A) or Lot 228 (formerly Lot 52). If you have a student permit, look for spaces in Lot 224 (formerly Lot 80) or the south end of Lot 228 in front of the greenhouses.

If you are not affiliated with the UA and would like to park in a Student, Faculty/Staff, or Remote Lot (see the UA Parking Map for lot designations), you can purchase a temporary permit on the UA Transit and Parking website. 

Alternatively, free city street parking is available near the herbarium, on the south sides of W. Venus St. and W. Mitchell St., and on the east side of Lewis Ave. between Mitchell St. and Stone St.
